Repeated call for researchers for Qualitative research on Dehumanization in the Balkan Region within project Torture Prevention and Rehabilitation Programme The aim of the research is to contribute to prevention of torture through improving understanding of underlying psychological and social mechanisms of dehumanization and torture. Regional efforts and regional networking would have more powerful advocacy potential and it should serve to human rights defenders and service providers as a forum for mutual support and exchange. Campaigning against the culture of violence within institutions and in society at large in the region by providing relevant information about existing mechanisms for prevention should help in the process of understanding and preventing violence in the society. The researchers should be experienced in conducting qualitative studies and have the knowledge and experience on the issues of torture and violence. For each research, the research design, draft report and final report should be issued. Practical info Please send letter of interest to ncvetkovic@ian.org.rs
