This conference we see as a chance to continue to build up a worldwide network of community mental health based on our common values, hopes and aims and capable of acting as a critical movement in initiating change and development. In these times of crisis we are sure that it can be an injection of trust and confidence in the possibility of a wide change in the field of mental health all over the world.
As organizers, we will find your suggestions and proposals, including personal communications and presentations, of the utmost importance, so we would like to receive them and if possible, fit them into the overall purpose of the conference and enhancement of community mental health. Please mail outlines and abstracts to:
We can offer a wide number of big rooms and halls, all equipped with Hi-tech devices, so you can also propose a workshop based on your experience or on specific topics of general interest and invite all people you would like to include in the program. Posters are also accepted, as well as video and other media productions.
At the moment the conference is not financially supported by any public bodies, except that the Faculty of Philosophy will put its lecture halls at our disposal, so our work is based only on private donors. Therefore, we ask you to self-finance as much as you can. An official letter of invitation, if useful for getting reimbursement from your organization, is ready and can be easily sent to you by e-mail. Conference languages are English and Serbian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
Please disseminate this announcement and further communications about the conference to all your friends and colleagues who could be interested in participating. If you are a member of an organization that can contribute to this global critical movement for community mental health, please consider getting all involved as an official promoter and join the IMHCN.
Sincerely yours,
Vladimir Jovic IAN, Beograd
