Action 5 for 1
The goal of the action is to provide free-of-charge computer courses for the members of vulnerable groups in our society (children and youth without parental care, refugees and IDPs, torture victims, people with disabilities). If your company pays for at least five courses, computers or English language, for your employees to attend in our school, you will enable 1 member of some of the vulnerable groups to attend a course free-of-charge. In this way, your employees will acquire knowledge to use the maximum advantage of the modern computer technology and thus increase own but also the productivity of your company. At the same time the company would contribute to the fight against poverty in the society in the best possible way - through raising education level of the population. Participation of your company in this action will be promoted through various media events of IAN, including the IAN Telecentar annual press conference. All computer courses in IAN Telecentar are conducted in accordance with the ECDL standards. By successfully passing the tests, the participants can get the European Computer Driving License (ECDL), an international certificate recognized in more than 160 countries in the world. In the past five years IAN Telecentar has educated more than 2500 people in basic and advanced computer skills. One of the main donors supporting IAN Telecentar is Microsoft.
