CONCERT IN KNEZ MIHAJLOVA

On 1st August 2001 IAN organized a concert of men and women singing-groups from 'Krajina' Folklore Club. | |

Before the concert, members of 'Krajina' group walked through the main Belgrade street wearing traditional costumes from Dalmatia and Lika, and thus announced their performance. Therefore, not only refugees and people originating from those areas watched the concert, but also the citizens of Belgrade who have not had the opportunity to see and hear these excellent artists before. | |

While 'Krajina' group was taking back their countrymen to some better and happier past times with their songs, IAN representatives were distributing the brochures RETURN TO CROATIA and RETURN TO BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, and giving free advice regarding possibilities of repatriation. About 2000 people watched the concert.. |
