NEW YEAR PRESENTS AND HAPPINESS ON CHILDREN`S FACES

New Year is a special day that brings joy and happiness to all, especially to the youngest. Children of the refugees from Croatia and Bosnia, displaced from Kosovo, and from the Association of the blind welcomed the arrival of the year 2003 in IAN social club in Pancevo with dance, songs, balloons, cakes and laughter. On the 27th December 2002 they tried to, at least for a moment, chase away big worries from their small heads and made a joint wish and asked Santa Clause to bring them brighter and happier days in the following year. |

| The children first played a short performance about winter, New Year, Snowman, Santa Clause and his reindeers, dressed in the costumes of the characters from the poems they were reciting... | .  |

...and then followed a competition in "Karaoke" singing! Members of the jury were the young volunteers of IAN and Red Cross in Pancevo who helped in the organisation of the manifestation. The scouts from Italy, the guests of IAN, participated, too. Apart from the applauses from their friends, the bravest and the best singers, got nice rewards. After the singing, we all danced around, both the big and the small. | |
| Finally came what all eagerly expected - presents full of colourful surprises that IAN provided in cooperation with the "Bread of Life", "Mc Donald`s" and IAN Vocational Training Centre. All faces glittered with smiles... |  |
