Counselling people living with HIV/AIDS The service for psychological support to PLHIV was organized as a result of the fact that there is only one psychologist in Serbia working with PLHIV. From the other hand, one of the findings of qualitative study conducted by Imperial College is that there is a great need for psychological support for PLHIV. PLHIV reported in the study that they would like to have user friendly place outside of the Clinic (preferably in NGO setting) where they could get psychological counselling. Within IAN different kinds of psychological support were offered: Individual conversations - in case persons wants to exchange something in confidential and safe environment Self-help group - in case of the need to socialize and exchange feelings and toughts in group setting Supervision - if a person wishes to discuss about his/her dilemmas in regard to provision of psychosocial support to persons affected by HIV/AIDS Services provided by Biljana Petroviæ, psychodrama psychotherapist and group analyst
You may come to IAN in one of those terms Or contact us by phone: 011 36 21 814
