Training for volunteers

On December 4th 2021, IAN organized the first of three trainings planned within the project “Support to Sustainable Reintegration of Returnees in Serbia”, on the topic  “Mental health status of returnees, refugees / migrants / asylum seekers and other vulnerable groups”. 30 volunteers and field workers attended the training.

The trainings are intended for volunteers and field workers, as well as for everyone who works directly with project beneficiaries, in order to better understand the beneficiaries and provide the most adequate support. We also think that it is important for helpers to be empowered to recognize the mental health status of our beneficiaries – members of vulnerable groups, as well as to support and empower helpers to take care of their psycho-physical health and develop healthy stress management mechanisms that their work brings.
