News Exhibition of handicrafts and paintings held in Bosilegrad Posted on 19. January 2018. 1 min read 0 0 110 As a part of the project “Better life for refugees and migrants” supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy and Group 484, IAN organized an exhibition of craft work of refugee/migrant women temporarily settled at the Reception center in Bosilegrad. Visitors had the opportunity to see various handmade items, such as women’s bags, backpacks, pillow cases, children toys, clothes, table clothes, paintings, jewelry, that were made during creative workshops organized as a part of project activities. The exhibition was organized with the support of Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, Mayor of Bosilegrad municipality and Cultural center Bosilegrad. It was an excellent example of mutual collaboration between refugees/migrants and local community. The event was closed with the artistic program performed by the local cultural-artistic group and local choir. A special surprise, Christmas gifts, provided by IAN and Bosilegrad municipality, brought smiles to the faces of the youngest refugees/migrants.
