Start of the project Fight against Torture and Impunity

The project “Fight against torture and impunity” financially supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society of the Government of the Republic of Serbia has officially begun on December 1, 2017. and will last until November 30, 2019. The project is jointly implemented by International Aid Network IAN and Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights YUCOM. The ceremonial award of grants to civil society organizations was organized within the celebration of the International Human Rights Day (December 10th). In front of the EU Delegation, grantees were greeted by the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Mateja Norčič Štamcar, and the contracts on projects’ co-financing  were signed by Žarko Stepanović, Acting Director of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society.
