Overall aim of the project is to contribute to the fight against impunity by using data gathered from survivors of torture to support accountability, prevention, and rehabilitation of survivors. Specific objective of the project is to strengthen and harmonise the capacity of rehabilitation centres to collect clinical data and use it to produce human rights outputs to support anti-impunity work. 33 centres from 28 countries are involved in this project. Partners in the project are from Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Philippines, Serbia and associate partner from Croatia. Implementing centres involved in this project are from Albania, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Georgia, Honduras, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Moldova, Nigeria, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Uganda. Unique data base for collecting quality data on torture was created and shared with new 21 implementing centres. Using uniform data base for keeping records on torture will enable sharing information between different centres from different regions and will help us in fight against torture worldwide.
