Second training for volunteers and first responders/field workers, activity on the joint project of IAN and AHC, was held on June 5th and 6th in Tirana.

Presentations of BMZ programmatic component “Returning to new opportunities” and projects of several partners involved in service provision to returnees through readmission agreement in Albania took place during the first day of training. Additionally, IAN experts provided sessions on experiences of trauma and torture, consequences of these experiences, basis of provision of psycho-social and psychological first assistance, characteristics of different vulnerable beneficiary groups, mental health problems among returnees, and burn out syndrome and stress among helpers.

During second day of training included presentation of Legal Framework on the readmission and reintegration process, presentation of Child Protection Unit Tirana, and presentations of the Regional Directorates of Social Services municipalities of Tirana, Gjirokastra and Shkodra. Training participants also discussed the most efficient ways of mutual networking and cooperation.
